ALL ABOARD! TRAFXSAFE RAIL IS HERE
A New Proactive Safety Approach for level Crossings
Join us on Tuesday, September 26th, to see our newest video analytics product focused on safety at level crossings. See how the latest innovation from the TrafxSAFE product family can assist rail operators, transportation, and traffic engineers by detecting, logging, categorising, and evaluating high-risk, non-compliant road user behaviour at level crossings. This information lets users quickly quantify and validate decisions to implement safety countermeasures at crossings.
According to The National Rail Safety Regulator (ONRSR), between 2016 – 2021, there were 5,843 near misses at level crossings, an average of 974 per year. From 2016 January until March 2022, when excluding suspected suicides, there were 95 railway fatalities on the Australian heavy rail network. Unfortunately, this also comes with a lack of relatable crash data at crossings that stakeholders need to make the best choices. Now with TrafxSAFE Rail, the ability to approach safety in a proactive manner and to pinpoint safety risks before collisions and train incidents happen is taken to the next level!
Register for the live launch and discover how TrafxSAFE Rail can be used to:
-
- Check for non-compliant behaviour at level crossings during multiple stages: Train Approaching | Train Present | Train Departing
- Identify non-compliant behaviour across all road users (cars, trucks, pedestrians, cyclists, etc.)
- Review analytics, prepare charts, graphs, and view video clips of rail safety events from the customisable dashboard
